OVRG donates $500 to Harmony House, Inc. Children's Advocacy Center
For the month of April, the Ohio Valley Roller Girls chose to donate their half of the 50/50 raffle to Harmony House, Inc. Children's Advocacy Center to aid in the organization's month-long yellow wagon fundraising campaign. During the 50/50 raffle $200 was raised. OVRG decided to match that amount with an additional $300 bringing the total donation to $500. For those of you that are not familiar with Harmony House their major goals are to reduce trauma and promote healing for alleged child victims and their non-offending family members and expedite the investigation and assessment of alleged child victimization so that the entire well being of the child can be addressed through treatment and other related services.
